The directors

Phil and Jane have both worked for SJCS since its inception in June 1998 and its former parent company for a combined total of more than 40 years. They acquired SJCS in September 2014 and following Phil’s retirement at the end of 2022, Jane now owns the company. Phil remains a director of the company and a valuable consultant to SJCS.

Jane Kirton, ACG

Owner and Director

Jane has over 25 years experience in the company secretarial environment and qualified as a Chartered Secretary in 2007.

Jane has worked with most of the leading South African mining companies and assisted on numerous corporate transactions involving acquisitions, reorganisations and restructurings, rights offers and fund raisings.

Jane performs the role of Company Secretary for both listed and private companies and covers all core duties, including board support, corporate activity and statutory and regulatory compliance.

Phil Dexter

Director and Consultant

Phil has in excess of 40 years experience in the company secretarial environment and has worked in the natural resources sector since 1977.

During that time he has worked with most of the leading South African mining companies and assisted on numerous corporate transactions involving acquisitions, reorganisations and restructurings, rights offers and fund raisings.

Following his retirement at the end of 2022, Phil now acts as a consultant to the company.
